April 13 - April 20

Cost: £900 before 31st December, £999 thereafter. Teens £499. All profits from this course go to the Teen Yoga Foundation.

A deposit of £100 is required to secure your place. Places limited to 31. Please book your place using the ticket function below.

You can come with or without a teen or you can send your teen on an independent trip with us!

Duration: 5 days fully accredited with Yoga Alliance Professionals Independent Yoga Network and Yoga Alliance US – 2 days free to relax with your teen!

This is our flagship course. Students from this course have the opportunity to bond in a retreat style week, not only with each other but also with other young adults.  There are several opportunities to discuss pertinent issues with young people. Morning and evening meditation and asana are optional and daily. This course is always fully booked so please make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

You get 7 days in a sunny environment, close to the sea, the mountains and with a pool, in a relaxed atmosphere, we run the same course as in the UK but with added benefits of having our young people with us to discuss topics that arise. Cortijo Romero has been offering holistic courses since the 80s and the atmosphere of the venue reflects this gentle, deep and nurturing history. All food is vegetarian (there is a vegan option at an extra price). You have two days free to explore the area and all vegetarian meals and accommodation are included.

You may bring your teen with you and there will be a fun and easy schedule for them to follow too, if they are interested – no pressure. There is also a study room, if they would rather study for exams.

There will be morning and evening meditation and yoga classes that are open to all, including the teens!

The course itself will run 9.30am-5pm Monday – Friday, leaving Sunday and Saturday for you to explore.

Obligatory Reading: Teen Yoga for Yoga Therapists by Charlotta Martinus and the Book of Dharma by Simon Haas. You can buy them here: https://teenyoga.com/product/teen-yoga-for-yoga-therapists/ https://teenyoga.com/product/the-book-of-dharma-making-enlightened-choices/
Recommended reading: Dark Night of the Soul by Simon Haas. You can buy it here: https://teenyoga.com/product/the-dark-night-of-the-soul-simon-haas/

When you buy these books from Teen Yoga, the profits go back into the Teen Yoga Foundation which aims to empower young people through yoga.

Run by Charlotta Martinus, this course is a fully accredited course with mornings of theoretical learning, including Psychology, Neuroscience, Anatomy and Physiology, Applied Chakra theory and Marketing and afternoons are spent experiencing different kinds of classes. This is a highly experiential course. There will be group work outside as well as some therapeutic work, helping you to understand the teaching and learning process more clearly. Moreover, we will look at how best to manage this group using yoga techniques to control behaviour.
